Low Carb Frenzy

So I've been on a low carb frenzy recently and after about two weeks of eating nothing but bacon and cheese, I decided that this diet is not maintainable unless I get creative. SO, with that being said, I have taken to the kitchen to start creating low carb dishes that will keep me satisfied and intrigued.

In my other blog, Tried and True Recipes, I posted a recipe for Bacon, Caramelized Onion, Swiss and Gruyere Cheese Quiche - which is delicious, but everyone knows that quiche comes in a crust. In order to make this recipe carb-counter friendly, I just omitted the crust and baked the quiche as if nothing was different. It was just as delicious and was WAY less carbs...about 5 carbs per slice to be exact!



I'll be posting more low-carb recipes, probably for a bit....because lets be honest, diets need inspiration!
